About project

An iOS app that shows customers the closest open food trucks on a live map, while vendors pay a monthly subscription to list their truck, menu and location.

Customers want to know which food trucks are open nearby and what they serve. Vendors want to be found without building their own app.

The app connects both sides: customers browse and search for free, and vendors with an active subscription list their truck, menu and current location.

Challenges & Solutions

Challenges

Vendor features had to unlock only for paying subscribers, and the founder needed a tested iOS build in front of real users quickly.

Solutions

Built in FlutterFlow on Firebase, with RevenueCat checking the vendor entitlement before the truck registration form opens.

Trucks publish coordinates to Firestore, the map updates their markers live, and the list sorts open trucks from closest to farthest from the customer.
